Description
The essence of the project Development of the System for monitoring the position of electrical load switches for electrical substations (SS), based on LoRaWAN technology. The substations are located according to the power supply scheme both in the city and in the region. Network equipment and radio modules (RM) can be installed in switchgear, incl. outdoor execution. The planned number of sensors at each object is from 5 to 20 pcs. Wired communication lines at the substation are not available. The total number of substations in one region is more than 300. Number of participants: 4-3 groups of 4-3 students each. A project designed for students of computer science / applied mathematics/EE students. Preference for students with knowledge of embedded systems and knowledge of Linux. Preference for students with knowledge of embedded systems or after a conversion lab energy. Project Tasks Development of sensors based LoRa WAN / WiFi communication that transmit data through GateWay to a server. The total number of substations in one region is more than 300.
