E-AR client – project:

This is a part in a bigger project that allows everyone to access the magic of 
Augmented Reality.

Build an app with unity that:
1.	Request mp3, unity assets, pictures for AR markers from a server
2.	Use ARFoundation to set the pictures as AR markers.
3.	Place unity assets on the markers.
4.	Play mp3 audio recordings and play animations of the assets.

ARFoundation is a library that allows you to use the full power of Unity and Augmented Reality together. This library has an AR marker option, this means that every frame it will look for a certain picture on the pixels of the phone camera and determine its location in 3D inside the Unity 3D space. 

After finding the marker, the library also has the capability to know where the marker is, even when it’s not in the picture of the phone camera. All this happens through recognition of phone movement and comparison of picture changes.

You will use this great piece of technology within this project to achieve the goals mentioned above.


Expected completion timeframes (1 semester)
1.	2 weeks to get the data from the server.
2.	4 weeks to set pictures as AR markers.
3.	2 weeks placement of objects.
4.	4 weeks playing audio and animations 

Number of participants:
2-3 groups of 4-7 students each.
A project designed for students of computer science / applied mathematics.
