The essence of the project
Development of a WEB GIS system, with the option of making information accessible to field people, ie, developing a web interface that connects to a database and displays the customer data to the user according to the user settings. While combining maps and aerial photographs from open sources in the application.
Project Tasks
Functional requirements
• The system will present the user with geographic data in the following areas:
-	Infrastructure 
-	agriculture
• The application will make it easier for the user to upload his orthophotos. 
• Calculation of: Area, distance, volume, etc.
• Development of dedicated forms for infrastructure data, land usage data, etc.
-	Preference here for using the platform for creating forms using the drag and drop method.
• Infrastructure maintenance monitoring.
• Database query according to several parameters.
Non-functional requirements
• The system will allow the user to manage the geographic data from a WEB application and view geographic data from a mobile.
• The application will be optimized for the user's convenient use (hiding some of the tools and enlarging the icons of the remaining tools).
Number of participants:
2-3 groups of 4-8 students each.
A project designed for students of computer science / applied mathematics.


Development environments:
Work environments used in WEB development, with an emphasis on smartphone compatibility.
Databases will be developed in accordance with the requirements that will be agreed upon in the characterization document.
