The essence of the project
Development of a GIS system based on the QGIS platform, with the option of making information accessible to field people, ie, developing a web interface that connects to a database and displays the customer data to the user according to the user settings.
Project Tasks
Functional requirements
• The system will present the user with geographic data in the following areas:
• Infrastructure - in accordance with the MAV'AT procedure (format).
• Cadastre/land usage in accordance with the MAV'AT procedure (format).
• The system will display the cadastre data in accordance with the MAV'AT (format).
• The application will make it easier for the user to upload his orthophotos. 
• Uploading and maintaining of plans.
• Calculation of: Area, distance, volume, etc.
• City building plan in accordance with the MAV'AT procedure (format).
• Presentation of a 3D settlement plan. Includes stretching a background map according to the altitude data. Here priority is given to the use of an external platform adapted for this purpose.
• Development of dedicated forms for infrastructure data, land usage data, etc.
Preference here for using the platform for creating forms using the drag and drop method.
• Infrastructure maintenance monitoring.
• Database query according to several parameters.
Non-functional requirements

• The system will allow the user to manage the geographic data from a desktop application and view geographic data from a mobile.
• The Desktop application developed on the basis of QGIS software. The application will be optimized for the user's convenient use (hiding some of the tools and enlarging the icons of the remaining tools).
• The interface on both platforms will be in Hebrew.
