Smart city system engineering The key objective of the project is to implement an innovative approach to a common place based on optimal use of resources while maximizing the comfort of living. The basic functionalities of the Smart Campus platform include detection, information processing and decision-making support for “Smart” resources using, based on adaptive AI. The HIT “Smart Campus” key advantages are: LoRaWAN New Generation networking environment Sensor AI based integrated environment using LoRaWAN networking. LoRa is a wireless modulation technique derived from Chirp Spread Spectrum (CSS) technology. It encodes information on radio waves using chirp pulses - similar to the way dolphins and bats communicate! LoRa modulated transmission is robust against disturbances and can be received across great distances. “Smart Campus” Basic Functionalities LoRaWAN connectivity network Multi-functional IoT infrastructure (sensors, Web, servers, gateways) Sensor based “Smart Building” Infrastructure: a) Energy Monitoring & Management System b) Water Monitoring & Management System c) “Smart” security solutions AI analytics system for “Smart Campus” subsystems support AR “Smart Campus” navigation system Integrated Data “Dashboard” solutions Number of participants: 2-3 groups of 4-5 students each. A project designed for students of computer science / applied mathematics.
