GIS application development 3D Modeling =========================================================== Development of sophisticated algorithms for drones Duration of the project Two-semester project The essence of the project 3D modeling of the realistic environment and production of GIS products are not performed in real time today, but in a long process - from the photography phase using drones, through assistance with image processing people and advanced software for analyzing, processing data and RTK accuracy of photos to product production, high quality and resolution of close to a 1 cm. per pixel. Project Tasks Development of sophisticated algorithms for autonomous drones. And the ability to analyze / process, and produce GIS products in real time - in high quality and resolution. The algorithms will test: • In creating a three-dimensional mapping model of environmental reality in urban space • In creating a three-dimensional mapping model of the environmental reality in agricultural land. Drone assembly and algorithm developed programming into drone control unit. Suitable for students: • Research objectives: A project designed for students of E&E Engineering and Industrial Engineering and Management, Faculty of Design. • Implementation objectives: A project designed for students of computer science / applied mathematics/ E&E Engineering, Faculty of Design. Emphasis in project execution: The project has the right atmosphere of a start-up company, which combines meeting deadlines while being creative and focusing on the task. The work is multidisciplinary, paid for by students from other faculties and possibly even from other institutions. Number of participants: 2-3 groups of 4-5 students each.
