Smart Campus Course Overview: A data-powered solution utilizing AI and sensor technology to optimize campus operations, improve energy efficiency, and enhance student experiences. The system processes real-time sensor data, enabling predictive maintenance, energy-saving strategies, and data-driven decision-making. This course will explore the application of AI in creating a smart campus environment. Students will leverage sensor data to enhance campus operations, improve energy efficiency, and enrich student experiences. Modules: 1. Introduction to Smart Campus Concepts - Understanding smart campuses - Key components and technologies - Benefits and challenges - Types of sensors (motion, temperature, light, etc.) - Data acquisition and exploration 2. Data Preprocessing and Management - Cleaning and organizing sensor data - Statistical data exploration 3. AI Model Development - Model selection and training - Feature extraction from sensor data Example: Energy Efficiency - Analyzing energy consumption patterns - Predictive maintenance for campus facilities - Implementing energy-saving strategies 4.
