Description
full-bin-hardware-team Full bin detection is a smart waste management technology that uses sensors and data analytics to monitor bin capacity in real time. The system alerts waste management teams when a bin is full, allowing for optimized collection routes and reducing the risk of overflow. This technology is increasingly integrated into smart city infrastructures to enhance urban cleanliness and sustainability. Project for Electrical Engineering students. Background: We are building a Smart Campus system that will track garbage bins. The monitoring will be done with a web application. The system will show a map of the campus, some bins will be present on the map and they will be presented as full or not full. Technologies You will use: LORAWAN technologies and sensors. Node.js / Python server Your Goals: • Write the project documentation and plan including finding which sensors to buy. • Installing sensors. • Parsing sensor data into JSON objects. • Send data to a server created by another team.
