SOCIAL CHAT WEB APPLICATION

General Description
Design and create a real-time chat web application, including private/group conversations, user accounts, and live message delivery.

Project Scope
Plan a unique chat application of your choice.
- Pick a theme and purpose for the chat (e.g. general messenger, community/topic-based chat, campus chat).
- Build user registration and contact/conversation management.
- Implement real-time message delivery (one-to-one and/or group chats).
- Build server, client, and database from scratch.
- Deploy a working end-to-end demo.

Student Requirements
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Full attendance in weekly meetings
- High motivation
- Independent learning
- Personal responsibility for assigned tasks and deadlines

Development Tools
- Node.js / or any other preferred server-side framework
- React.js / or any other preferred client-side framework
- WebSocket / Socket.io for real-time messaging
- MySQL or any other relational database scheme

- Poster
- Presentation
- GitHub link to the code
